As per the latest guidance from the government, staff in hospitality and retail are now required to wear face coverings (from 24 September). This means that all staff and customers within Wilson and Co will have to wear a mask. People who are already exempt from the existing face covering obligations, such as because of an underlying health condition, will continue to be exempt from these new obligations. Please note that Wilson and Co must remind people to wear face coverings where mandated.
As of 24th September, all customers will be able to 'check-in' at the displayed official NHS QR Code Posters upon entry to our dealerships. This option is an alternative to providing contact details once the app is rolled out nationally. Instructions of how to 'check-in' will be provided on the posters.
Wilson and Co remain committed to the plans and processes that that we have had in place during lockdown and since the showroom's reopening on 1st June.
All of our showrooms have been set out to adhere to social distancing, with clear signage for all visitors to site. Our staff are constantly reminded of their obligations and training videos have been used as they have returned from furlough.
We appreciate that for Bolton customers, there is particular concern and we therefore extend our assistance to reassure you of our commitment to keeping you safe and are constantly monitoring the situation.

Starting from July 24th, the Government has announced that it will now be compulsory to wear a face covering when entering a shop or store.
To ensure the safety of all our customers and staff and to stay within government guidelines, all customers will be required to wear a face covering upon entering Wilson and Co.
Face coverings will be available at reception should you enter the showroom without one, where you will be asked to wear one. And remember social distancing is still in place, lets all remain 2m apart where possible.

From the 1st of July, Motability have reopened applications for both new and existing Motability customers, you can place an application now if you wish. This means:
• If you are a new Motability customer, you can place your order (once you have completed your application with Motability)
• If you are an existing Motability customer who:
› has less than three months remaining on their lease you can place your order
› has already had a six-month extension on their motability lease, you can place your order
We’ve had lots of questions from customers who have had their leases extended during lockdown, or who are now approaching the end of their lease, about when they can place an order for their next car. We’ve tried to answer some of your questions here.
Well, since our showrooms re-opened on Monday, it has been great to welcome so many customers - safely - back to Wilson and Co! As our Service departments stayed open throughout lockdown, we are well versed in following the Government Guidelines.

In-line with Government instructions, Wilson and Co have made the decision to close all vehicle showrooms from close of business, Tuesday 24th March.
We will continue to support customers regarding sales enquiries via our website, www.wilsonandco.com
Our Service Departments will remain open to complete work that is already booked in and also to support those that require assistance over the coming weeks. Key-worker’s will be given priority in order that they can stay safely on the road.

Wilson and Co is taking the spread of COVID-19 extremely seriously. As always, its priority is the safety and well-being of its staff and customers. Across the Wilson and Co sites enhanced processes have been introduced to reduce the risk of passing on infection.
However not everyone is able to work from home and many of you including our emergency services which Wilson and Co have continued to supported over the years rely on vehicles to get to work or support people in need. We are determined to do everything possible to continue to support our customers while minimising potential exposure to Coronavirus.
The dealership asks that if any customers are feeling unwell or are displaying any symptoms of COVID-19 that they contact us before visiting so that alternative arrangements can be made where possible.
Wilson and Co will be taking the following actions to help reduce the risk of spreading the virus:
o Cleaning programmes have been increased within the dealership, especially for those areas touched regularly by team members or customers
o Facilities are available for customers to wash their hands during their visit
o Employees will not be shaking hands and will be keeping a safe distance
o As part of normal servicing and valet procedures staff will be wiping down the steering wheel, buttons/switches, handles and keys of every vehicle with disinfectant - this process will also apply to all vehicle deliveries and for demonstrator and loan vehicles before and after they are used
o Although latest guidance suggests packaging on parts and accessories is not a major source of infection, staff will be wiping down such items with disinfectant at customer request on handover
All above procedures will continue to be reviewed and updated. Wilson and Co would like to reassure all customers that it is taking all advisory and protocol issued by the Government and Public Health authorities during this time, and in any event of escalation in this advice guidance will be followed.
